The Pickerel Lake Conservancy

The Pickerel Lake Conservancy (PLC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, public organization created by friends and citizens concerned about Pickerel Lake. The PLC’s mission is to protect the water quality, natural resources and eco-systems of Pickerel Lake and their surrounding watershed.

We have grown to over 125 families and members and partner with several entities that share our vision. Some PLC members are families who have owned lake property for generations; others are new to the lake. Some members are year-round residents, while others are here only for a few weekends each summer. But we share a common bond: love of Pickerel Lake and the surrounding area. The PLC brings together all those people who want to translate their love of Pickerel Lake into concrete actions. Our goals are to promote conservation, research and education to protect the natural beauty and environment of the lake and to preserve Pickerel Lake for the enjoyment of people today and generations to come.
